چکیده

Phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) is the first enzyme in phenylpropanoid pathway and plays a vital role adoption, growth, development plants but wheat its characterization still not very clear. Here, we report genome-wide identification of TaPAL genes analysis their transcriptional expression, duplication, phylogeny wheat. A total 37 that cluster into three subfamilies have been identified based on phylogenetic analysis. These are distributed 1A, 1B, 1D, 2A, 2B, 2D, 4A, 5B, 6A, 6B, 6D chromosomes. Gene structure, conserved domain analysis, investigation cis-regulatory elements were systematically carried out. Chromosomal rearrangements gene loss observed by evolutionary orthologs among Triticum urartu, Aegilops tauschii, aestivum during origin bread ontology revealed PAL play plant growth. We also 27 putative miRNAs targeting genes. The high expression level was detected roots drought-tolerant genotypes compared to drought-sensitive genotypes. However, low expressions TaPAL10, TaPAL30, TaPAL32, TaPAL3, TaPAL28 recorded all Arogenate dehydratase interacts with TaPAL29 has higher roots. RNA-seq data showed they expressed shoots under normal abiotic stress. Our study offers valuable functioning

Ca2+/Cation Antiporters (CaCA): Identification, Characterization and Expression Profiling in Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

The Ca2+/cation antiporters (CaCA) superfamily proteins play vital function in Ca2+ ion homeostasis, which is an important event during development and defense response. Molecular characterization of these proteins has been performed in certain plants, but they are still not characterized in Triticum aestivum (bread wheat). Herein, we identified 34 TaCaCA superfamily proteins, which were classi...

Expression and in silico characterization of Phenylalanine ammonium lyase against karnal bunt (Tilletia indica) in wheat (Triticum aestivum)

To investigate the lignifications process and its physiological significance under Karnal Bunt (KB), the changes in enzymes responsible for lignifications likes, phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL), were determined in resistant (HD-29) and susceptible genotype (WH-542) of wheat during different developmental stages. The PAL gene was cloned and sequenced. The expression of PAL gene was measured by...

Isolation and characterization of ERECTA genes and their expression patterns in common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

The orthologue of Arabidopsis ERECTA gene (ER) in wheat, TaER, is considered to be a promising candidate gene for the genetic improvement of water use efficiency (WUE) and drought tolerance in breeding programs. In this study, we isolated two distinct homologues (TaER1 and TaER2) of TaER genes in common wheat through in silico screening and PCR-based homologous cloning. Sequence analysis reveal...

Genome-Wide Identification and Expression Analysis of the HD-Zip Gene Family in Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

The homeodomain-leucine zipper (HD-Zip) gene family, as plant-specific transcription factors, plays an important role in plant development and growth as well as in the response to diverse stresses. Although HD-Zip genes have been extensively studied in many plants, they had not yet been studied in wheat, especially those involved in response to abiotic stresses. In this study, 46 wheat HD-Zip g...

Characterization and Expression of High Temperature Stress Responsive Genes in Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

To elucidate the effects of high temperatures, wheat plants (Triticum aestivum cv. CPAN 1676) were given heat shocks at 37°C and 42°C for two hours, and responsive genes were identified through PCR-Select Subtraction technology. Four subtractive cDNA libraries, including three forward and one reverse subtraction, were constructed from three different developmental stages. A total of 5500 ESTs w...
